Content: A certificate in understanding Cybertrauma for professionals.
This course will run over 10 months online starting February 2026. You can enrol after the course begins and catch up using recorded sessions from earlier modules.

By the end of the course, participants will be able to:

Understand the psychological mechanisms of cyber trauma and its impact on child and adolescent development

- Vicarious trauma, moderators and professionals, plus current AI issues
- Practical safeguarding skills that prevent further harm
- Working effectively with parents and carers
Course structure

10 live modules delivered over 10 months

Monthly 1.5-hour live sessions on Zoom (1 hour training, 30 minutes Q&A and discussion)
- Thursdays 7.30PM - 9PM (UK time)
- Training sessions are recorded for you to catch up if you miss any (the live discussions are not recorded)

Participants who complete the course requirements will receive a Cybertrauma Certificate, recognising their professional development and applied understanding of cyber trauma.
